[...] Here’s hoping that coach Greg Kraft is doing whatever he can to get Hasay to call Tempe home next fall. After all, she’s not being called the future of American distance running for nothing. New to Echo from the Buttes? Don’t miss: Our unveiling of the Wildcats’ silly new billboards. Our assessment of Omar Bolden’s struggles. Our lively debate on Tempe’s top five bars. Our reminiscence on our favorite NFL Sun Devils. [...]

Drexel has a great point with the UNC comeback. We were at the game and it was pretty special, even though we only won like four games that season. Todd Heap was a pimp too.

What about Torain dropping his shoulder and plowing through a guy for a first on the fourth-and-short against Wazzu last year? Gotta love college football!

having actually seen almost all these guys play, it is hard to pick, but I;m going to have to go with Todd Heap. He was just so clutch, with to many one hand grabs to even count

Like the previous post, perhaps my all-time favorite regular season ASU game was 2002 at Oregon, with Walter setting the Pac-10 record for yards in a game.

But my favorite single moment from players on this list also has to do with Walter....remember the game-winning touchdown to Skyler Fulton with no time left on the clock at North Carolina???!!!

Like Oregon02, the game at UNC wasn't on a major network...not sure if it was on TV anywhere in the country. But single moments don't get any better than this. ASU was whistled for like a record number of penalties, many of which were questionable and the ending was great redemption. Loved watching Regis Crawford put his index finger up to his mouth seconds after the score to "shush" the Tar Heel faithful.

Gotta be Shaun McDonald and Andrew Walter going bombs away all over Oregon in the famous "McDuffy's Game" in 2002.
