Weekend Links: Vote for Your Favorite Wildcat Billboard

As you know by now, the University of Arizona recently erected the billboard pictured below. We weren’t exactly sure what one might move ahead of by heading South, but you all had some thoughts. Now it’s time to vote for the best one.

We received a number of great submissions when we asked you to complete the zany Wildcats’ billboard last week. Now it’s time to vote for the best one. The poll closes at 5 p.m. Sunday and we’ll announce the winner on Monday.

Which slogan would you most like to see on the University of Arizona's new billboards?

  • “Head South. ‘Cuz that’s where your job prospects are headed with a UA degree.” – AK47 (6%, 1 Votes)
  • “Head South. Move ahead … into an exciting career writing faux-meaningful billboard slogans for second-rate colleges.” – the freelancer (12%, 2 Votes)
  • “Head South. Move ahead of Illinois in schools with the longest bowl drought.” – Gime em Hell (47%, 8 Votes)
  • “Head South. Move ahead … on Craig James’s inexplicable Top 25 ballot.” – Tobias Funke (6%, 1 Votes)
  • “Head South. Because that’s where the Athletic department is headed.” – UA Matt (29%, 5 Votes)
  • Total Voters: 17
