Weekend Links: The Sun’ll Come Out Tomorrow
Whatever shall we do as we await what quite possibly could be the biggest game of the Sun Devils’ season? Well, we could look back through two weeks of football posts cranked out between uncontrollable sobbing fits.

(Keegan’s back. That should help.)
It’s been a rough few weeks for Sun Devil fans. Hell, we’ve been tempted to crawl into a nice bottle of Jim Beam ourselves, but the Georgia fans bought it all up while they were here in Tempe.
So we’ve resolved to move press forward and provide the kind of football coverage diehard Sun Devils demand. If you haven’t been reading Echo from the Buttes the last two weeks, here’s a taste of what you’ve missed.
- The typically-brash Omar Bolden was beating himself up over his poor play.
- Rudy Carpenter was ranked the state’s second best college quarterback.
- Dennis Erickson was denied a mulligan for abandoning the run against Georgia.
- Defensive leader Gerald Munns was lost for the season for personal reasons.
- And we asked five questions of Cal’s beat writer to acquaint ourselves with the Bears.
We doubt you missed it, but we also uncovered the University of Arizona’s new billboards. Check them out below. Kickoff can’t get here soon enough. Time to get off the snide!
