Our favorite quote from yesterday’s men’s basketball preseason media event came not surprisingly from Jeff Pendergraph. Referring to the sting of being left out of the tournament, Pendergraph said “It wasn’t like we had a poster of the NCAA committee on our wall and we’d walk by saying ‘Dang you!’”
That’s too bad, because we can actually kind of picture Pendergraph doing that. Hey, we wouldn’t want him cursing us. (Don’t miss our take on Jeff Pendergraph from earlier today.)
Anyway, here are four strikingly similar season previews from Valley media outlets. The general theme is that the Sun Devils used to be bad. Now they might be good. And we can’t wait for November 14!

Now that we’ve armed you with a plethora of great information about the team, we want to know how you think they’ll fare. Vote in the poll and if you’ve got anything more to add, feel free to say it in the comments below.

It looks like we slipped a third freshmen onto the roster at the last minute. Stephen Rogers is a 6-8 forward who just got back from his mission. He played at Mountain View with Harper Kamp, Kendall Wallace, Brendan Lavendar and others. They won a handful of state titles while he was there, including two against Mr. Bayless. >:-)
Here’s his bio … http://thesundevils.cstv.com/sports/m-baskbl/mtt/rogers_stephen00.html
hopefully he can play the SF postion and shoot the 3.
