Wall Street-Sized Meltdown for ‘Cats: “The Inexperience Bug Just Bit Arizona”
Arizona’s basketball team managed a late-game situation against UAB like the CEOs of GM, Ford and Chrysler handled the last two decades. Sun Devil fans must see this video.

(Check out more Arizona billboards on our Facebook page.)
We don’t rip on the Wildcats enough around these parts. To remedy this situation, we present this video of Arizona freshman Kyle Fogg and sophomore Jamelle Horne fouling UAB late – not once, but twice – thinking that they needed to put their opponent on the line late.
The only problem? The game was tied in both instances! Needless to say, Arizona loses.
The offending fouls occur :20 into and 3:45 into the video. Perhaps this is what happens when your hall of fame coach leaves you in the lurch a week before the season and your stuck with a guy who was doing play-by-play this time last year—for your rival no less.
Fall down Arizona. Fall down.
By the way, the Arizona football team is 2-3 since running back Nic Grigsby boasted that opponents were “going to see we’re no joke.”
Oops.

I still cant stop laughing at this. Im so glad i actually decided to watch the end of this game just to see uofa lose.
Wow Russ Pennell – what an embarrassment for U of A.
Here’s a crazy and totally unfounded theory: UA threw the game.
Maybe Lute was “forced” into retirement just like Michael Jordan was — though I don’t expect to see Lute playing AA ball any time soon.
While I don’t honestly think UA threw the game, it makes you wonder because I HAVE NEVER seen even one fouling mistake like that, let alone two.
Hm.
I watched this live — just unbelievable. UA didn’t even deserve to be in the game near the end — never mind shooting for the lead/win — so I guess this is some sort of karmic payback, maybe for the nudge under the basket on the tying hoop.
I’ve nothing against the guy, but Russ Pennell roamed the sidelines in disbelief enough for him to remind me of a disgruntled Big South or Ohio Valley head coach.
Suffice to say, I’ve got a pretty good feeling about this year.
