Weekend Links: Sun Devil Nation Prepares for a Weekend of Hoops

With the Sun Devil football team on bye, it’s all hoops all the time this weekend. The 18th-ranked women’s team plays No. 2 Oklahoma in the WNIT semifinals at 6 p.m. tonight. It’s not on TV, but you can watch it right here for free.

And, of course, the 15th-ranked men’s team returns to Wells Fargo Arena after a narrow escape against San Diego State to host Pepperdine on Sunday. Will you be in The Inferno or in the nosebleeds? (We know where The Bold Saguaro will be.)

The Greg and Mark Show is checking in with its second Echo from the Buttes guest spot below. The guys are chatting about the men’s basketball team’s first two wins and the potential ramifications of the upcoming Duel in the Desert.

If you haven’t been hanging around Echo from the Buttes this week, here are a few links to hold you over until tipoff.

That’s it Sun Devils. We’ll see you at the arena on Sunday!

  1. I’m tired of watching USC win the conference. Oregon State beat them head-to-head, so let’s see the Beavers get a crack at whoever comes out of the Big Ten.

  2. I say beavers just cause they’ll have to beat the rats tonight to get there.
