On Wednesday it was James Harden attempting to leap over Chase Budinger — and nearly injuring himself in the process. On Saturday it was Houston’s Aubrey Coleman who mistook Budinger’s goateed face for a welcome mat. And neither Budinger nor Lute Olson was having any of it!

  1. Coleman claimed yesterday that the step was unintentional. Not sure I buy it, but here it is …

    “I never meant to step on him. I have never been in an incident like this before, and I have nothing but respect for him as a great player. I love the game too much to do something like that intentionally. I want to say I am sorry from the bottom of my heart. I know that God knows what is in my heart, but I am hopeful that Chase will understand and forgive.”
