Sports Arizona Monthly is back with a fully-interactive e-magazine packed exclusively with Arizona sports. There’s not much ASU content this month (we’ll work with them on that), but the March issue does include:

  • Moneyball – The Cactus League has survived a few near deaths to become a major economic engine.
  • Tiger Tracks – The Detroit Tigers played the first spring training game in Phoenix 80 years ago this month.
  • Unlucky Seven – Terry Porter’s 51-game reign as Suns head coach was short, but nowhere near the shortest in franchise history.
  • Is Phoenix Becoming Heartbreak City? – Our friend Vince Marotta of Fanster.com analyzes our many painfully close brushes with greatness.

These guys are using technology to do some pretty neat stuff. Not only is there great writing, but the reading experience is enhanced with embedded video, slideshows, sound effects and animation.

Anyway, you should check it out. Click on the cover image above to read the e-magazine.
