The Sun Devil football program grew by four bodies yesterday as junior college and high school prospects eligible to enroll at ASU in the spring semester signed letters of intent. Here’s a sneak peak at the four large gentlemen heading to Tempe.
We didn’t need rankings to tell us this, but the ASU football team was named one of the five biggest flops in college football this week. Also, light is shed on the story behind Omar Bolden’s USC-dissing ballcap switcheroo and the ASU women’s hoops team gets previewed.
Dennis Erickson has thrown no fewer than 10 true freshmen onto the field for Arizona State this year. But fear not, Sun Devils. All good things come to those who wait.
Omar Bolden, ASU’s typically brash sophomore defensive back, says he is beating himself up over his recent poor play. And if the ever-cocky Bolden is concerned, then so are we.
Dennis Erickson said after Saturday night’s loss to Georgia that positions would be up for grabs this week. Who could be on their way out of the starting lineup and who could be on their way in?
