Those wishing the Sun Devils would simply give up on the ground game and let Rudy Carpenter air it out on every play will be sorely disappointed by Dennis Erickson’s comments yesterday.
The Sporting News thinks Rudy Carpenter is only the eighth best quarterback West of the Mississippi, the third best in the Pac-10, and the second best in the Grand Canyon State. Whatever they’re smoking, we want some of it.

As you know, the Sun Devil nation is not always united in its opinion of Rudy Carpenter. This video of him stealing soda from the Memorial Union will probably not help clarify things.
