Just one more sleep until the 2026 football season kicks off!

Arizona State released the depth chart for Saturday's Week 1 matchup against Morgan State, and with it comes clarity on who will not see the field this week.

Out

Starting off with the big ones, three Sun Devils are out for the season due to injuries during camp or offseason recovery. Cornerback Nigel Pringle will miss the season following an injury sustained at Camp Tontozona. Not expected to see starting time, Pringle was to be a key depth piece for the Arizona State secondary.

Linebacker Zyrus Fiaseu also sustained an injury during camp, and will miss the season with a knee injury sustained during scrimmage. Martell Hughes is slotted in as the second linebacker on the depth chart aside Colorado State transfer Owen Long.

Defensive lineman MyKiel Gardner missed the entire 2025 season with a torn Achilles after transferring from Oregon, and underwent season-ending surgery after rupturing his other Achilles during summer workouts.

Questionable

Wide receivers Omarion Miller and Derek Eusebio both carried questionable designations, but both appear on the Week 1 depth chart; Miller projected as a starter and Eusebio in a depth role. Harry Hassmann also reported as questionable, and does not appear on the depth chart.

Khamari Anderson was considered questionable but is active in a starting role at tight end.

The Sun Devils will host the Bears at 7pm on September 5th, streaming on ESPN+.
