Panel predicts unanimous London victory for Sun Devils in first ever Union Jack Classic

The time has finally come, the Sun Devils are about to ring in a new era of international college football from Wembley Stadium in London. Before kickoff at 9am, our panel of columnists have their thoughts on what to expect from this matchup with Kansas.

David Howman (2-0)

This one is really hard for me to forecast just because of the travel element for both teams. Kansas has a stout defense, maybe the best we've seen in the Leipold era, but the offense is inconsistent at best.

The same can be said for Arizona State, though Cutter Boley and these receivers offer a higher ceiling. I think the Sun Devils win this one, pulling away in the fourth, but it'll be tight all day long.

Andrew Hayslett (2-0)

International games bring chaos. I expect Arizona State to get ahead early, leaning on senior wide receiver Reed Harris, before the offense becomes more balanced throughout the game,

ASU wins 38-21

Last week, Arizona State went through growing pains while facing a pretty good Texas A&M team. This week, I can see the offense bouncing back and setting the tone.

Tom Hardon (1-1)

The Sun Devils and Jayhawks are both in need of a bounceback game, and it's going to be the Sun Devils that get it in a big way. Kansas brings an offensive attack that is similar to what Arizona State held in check on the road, and counters with a weaker defense for Cutter Boley and Reed Harris to cut through.

The X-factor is the obvious; playing overseas. Expect some chaos, but managed chaos for the maroon and gold.
