The week started off questionably for the Sun Devils with a home loss to New Mexico State, but a key conference sweep of Baylor has Arizona State still moving in the right direction, and the voters agreed in Monday's weekly rankings update.

Checking in at No. 19, the Sun Devils jumped six spots from last week's rankings according to D1Baseball.com voters, swayed by huge offensive outbursts on Friday and Sunday.

This isn't an isolated bounce, as Baseball America puts Arizona State at No. 21 (up from No. 23), while Perfect Game moved the Devils up to No. 18 from last week's No. 21 ranking.

Big 12 teams are well represented in the rankings this week; conference leaders Kansas are on the cusp of the Top 10 (No. 11 in most polls), with West Virginia sitting just ahead of the Sun Devils in all three polls. Arizona State's next opponent in UCF sits outside the Top 25 after a sweep on the road at Utah, looking to disrupt the Sun Devils' hopes of a top 4 seed in the Big 12 Baseball Tournament in Surprise at the end of May.

11 games remain on the schedule for the Sun Devils. Arizona State will travel to Orlando May 1-3 for a three game series from John Euliano Park before a quick stop for a single midweek game at Missouri on May 5th. The final home series of the season will see Oklahoma State visit Phoenix Municipal Stadium May 8-10 before closing out the season on the road with a single game at Grand Canyon University on May 12th and a weekend series at Houston May 14-16.

The Big 12 Baseball Tournament will begin on May 20th, and the Sun Devils sit in a tenuous tie for second place with UCF (both 14-7 in conference play), chasing Kansas by three games (17-4). West Virginia and TCU both sit hot on the Devils' heels at 13-8, looking to lay claim to a first round bye in tournament play.
